Center for Byzantine Archeology
The Centre for Byzantine Archaeology was established with the aim of creating an international discussion platform for the topic of Byzantine archaeology. It is primarily intended for professionals active in the field but should also facilitate access for students and for the wider archaeological community. Our main goal is to increase mutual awareness, the dissemination of information and sharing of data through on-line networks and digital spaces. The existence of an accessible ongoing field discussion on Byzantine archaeology could also serve to enhance public awareness of interesting developments in the field and assist in promoting greater understanding of their meaning and relevance.
